| A. | For our company, there are no different from the material there are because we are belong to manufacturing domain of plastic production. To distinguish them from thickness, according to technical vocabulary from Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), film means [ a plastic substance/film with thickness below than 250μm ]; sheet means [ a thin plastic board with thickness above than 250μm ]. Meanwhile, according to [ Plastic film/sheet/flooring material industry/synthetic leather industry ] from Japan Standard Industry Classification (JSIC), sheet means [ soft substance with thickness above than 0.2mm ]; film means [ soft substance with thickness below than 0.2mm and thickness below than 0.5mm ] In other words, there are no clear classification about film and sheet. Generally in Japan, if the thickness below than 200μm, it defined as film; if the thickness above than 200μm, it defined as sheet by custom. We (including definition on website) defined film by the thickness about 100μm to 200μm; thin products; defined sheet by the thickness above than 100μm to 200μm. |
